2009 - 2010 COURSE REGISTRATION INFORMATION

INFORMATION NIGHT AT MOHAWK COLLEGE :
Will be held at Mohawk College, Fennell Campus, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, in Room F120.


COURSE LOCATION:
All courses are held at Mohawk College, Fennell Campus, on Tuesday evenings with the exception of Project Management which will be held on Thursday nights.

Registrations can either be mailed directly to the office or handed in at the Information Night.
If using a credit card, the credit card authorization form can either be faxed or mailed to the Hamilton Branch Office. Fees must be paid at the time of registration. (Cheques may be postdated to Sept. 1, 2009)

STARTING DATES FOR CLASSES:
"A" Section classes run from September 15, 2009 through December 15, 2009.
"B" Section classes run from January 12, 2010 through April 13, 2010, allowing for Spring Break on March 16, 2010.
Classes are held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.

COURSE FEES:

Membership Fees for 2009-2010:
$244.00


Course Fees for 2009-2010
$215.00 per course


Total fees paid prior to start of classes are  $674.00. This includes membership fees and two semesters of courses.
Students paying full yearly fees by the start of September semester will receive a discount of  $20.00, reducing the total due to  $654.00.

If paying now for "A" semester only (including membership) the fee is $459.00.

Fees for the second semester only (For new members joining in January) are $337.00, which includes a half-year membership fee and tuition for one course.
Cheques for the second semester only should be dated January 2, 2010.

Course Fee for Project Management: $400. for CIM Hamilton Branch Members; $475. for Non-Members

An overall pass of 60 per cent is required in order to pass the course.

Fees may be paid by cheque, cash, VISA, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS

CIM reserves the right to cancel or combine a class with an equivalent Mohawk College Course should minimum class enrolment not be met.

There will be a charge of  $35.00 for N.S.F. cheques.

Tax receipts will be issued upon receipt of fees.
There is an administrative fee of  $10.50  ( $10.00 plus  .50 G.S.T. ) for duplicate receipts.

APPLICATION FOR CREDIT:

The course would have to meet the minimum passing grade and time restrictions as per CIM policy.
If a person is a member of the Canadian Institute of Management while taking a course that has been deemed equivalent from another approved educational institution,
they may apply to CIM for an equivalency credit, at no extra cost to the member.

If the person was not a member of CIM when the course was taken, there is an administrative fee of   $78.75  ( $75.00 plus  $3.75 G.S.T. ) to apply for a course credit.
