ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

GUEST SPEAKER Peter Boos C.I.M. Consumer Service Officer General Insurance OmbudService (GIO) Conflict Management and it's relationship to leadership One manifestation of good leadership is realized in the effective handling of complaints. Complaints represents an opportunity to correct a perceived or actual gap between what should be happening and what is actually happening. Good leaders believe in a solution oriented mantra which focuses on understanding the complainants' perceptions in order to create solutions which enhance the working relationships of all those involved. There are creative strategies which can be employed to constructively deal with the complaints in a manner which empower and encourage continuous dialogue, co-operation and positive morale. I will share some of these strategies which have brought me success on professional, personal and spiritual levels. Elections for the 2009-2010 Board of Directors will be held during the meeting. Project Management and C.S.M. certificates will be presented to those members-on-course who have completed the necessary requirements. A Graduation Ceremony for those who have successfully completed the C.I.M  four-year course will follow the Speaker

There is no cost to members. Guests are welcome $35.00 per person Seating is limited and reservations are required. Please call the office ( 561-9889 ) by May 18, 2009. ( Members will be billed $35.00 if you are unable to attend and your reservation is not cancelled 24 hours prior.) Annual Golf Tournament is on Saturday July 11,2009.
